This beautiful “Big” Healey was restored by well respected Austin Healey specialists Steve Pike of Marsh Restorations and Bob Rowntree Automotive.
Steve restoring the bodywork and Bob rebuilding the mechanical componentry. This was carried out in 1999/2000.
The car was last sold by us in 2013 and has remained with the same fastidious owner since that time. The mileage covered since the restoration being only 6,949 miles.
It is important to note that this car also features, all alloy body panels, but retaining the steel bonnet and boot lid, 4 wheel disc brakes, straight cut close ratio gearbox by Dave Woodhouse, leather seating, works style hard top, Mota Lita wheel, heavy duty radiator and alloy fuel tank.
Finished in traditional BRG with a white hardtop this very special BT7 model offers rewarding performance, with the Rally style looks of the famed Healey competition cars of the 1960’s.
Also included are the ‘period correct’ owners handbook and workshop manual.
