Ford Vedette | 1954
Highlights:
– Classic Ford Vedette with a smooth 2.2L V8 engine
– Original beige and green two-tone paint
– Solid body with well-maintained chrome
Our customer offers for sale a 1954 Ford Vedette, a stylish sedan equipped with an original 2.2L V8 engine. Imported from a dealer in Appingedam in 2012, this Vedette has a solid body, thanks in part to an underbody treatment with Mike Sanders products. The car’s paintwork remains largely intact with some signs of usage and a touch-up on the driver’s door. The interior retains much of its original charm but shows age-related wear, particularly with carpet wear, a darkened headliner, and a loose door seal. All instruments work, though the clock is non-functional.
The exterior paint is in good condition, with minor scratches and an aged patina on aluminum trim. Inside, the upholstery remains intact, though the interior shows some wear typical of its age. The car passed its last inspection without any issues.
The Ford Vedette, known for its V8 engine and stylish design, was a popular model in Europe in the 1950s, especially appreciated for its American influence and elegance. Produced by Ford’s French division, the Vedette was equipped with a distinctively smooth V8, which offered a pleasant driving experience. This classic car appeals to enthusiasts who appreciate its unique combination of European styling and American power.
